Centier announced the results of its three-month long E-statement campaign. The campaign introduced a charitable promotion for new banking clients who chose to benefit from the convenience of paperless bank statements. As an incentive to Centier customers and communities, Centier pledged to donate $1 to local United Way agencies for each customer that signed up for E-Statements from October 1 – December 31, 2010.
Centier tallied the results of this campaign and collected $4,000 in donations to area United Way agencies. Centier President and CEO, Mike Schrage, presented a check to the Lake Area United Way in the amount of $2,250, and presented the United Way of Porter County with a check for $1,500.
“The work of the United Way has greatly impacted the lives of residents in Lake County, including many Centier clients and associates,” stated Schrage. “As an independently owned community bank, Centier is proud to serve the United Way with this donation made on behalf of our clients.”
In addition to a charitable donation tied to the E-statement campaign, Centier also incented customers to sign up for E-statements for a chance to win cash prizes. Greta Gasaway of Crown Point was the $1,000 grand prize winner, and Edward Metz of Portage was the second place $500 winner. Both winners were presented with their winnings from bank president, Mike Schrage.
