08.03.2011 - Centier to Host Facade Rebate Informational Seminar for Hammond Businesses

Hammond business owners are invited to a special presentation hosted by Centier Bank on Thursday, August 11, 2011, from 5:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Petros Restaurant located at 6525 Indianapolis Boulevard in Hammond.

Centier will host a presentation featuring its “Best in Business” loan program, which features special low-interest rates for Hammond businesses interested in rejuvenating and restoring the buildings they own. Centier business lenders will be available to answer questions about Centier’s special loan program, along with a rehab specialist from Hammond’s Economic Development Department to explain the City’s Façade Rebate Program.

The City of Hammond has developed a program to increase the physical attractiveness and marketability of Hammond’s industrial and commercial areas through financial rebates for commercial renovation and beautification projects. The Hammond Economic Development Business Façade Rebate Program was developed to assist area businesses and encourage a thriving business community.

Art Russell, Director of Community Lending for Centier Bank, said the rebate could be used for various renovations. “We’re offering an excellent low-interest loan for Hammond businesses that are ready to remodel or expand,” stated Russell. “It’s also an excellent opportunity for qualified businesses that may be interested in making enhancements and/or much needed repairs to their building.”
