02.22.2011 - Centier Promotes Miller

Michael E. Schrage, President and CEO of Centier Bank, announced that Michelle Miller has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.  Miller is an Employment Officer for the Human Resources department and manages a variety of daily projects, including recruitment, compensation, and associate relations.

Miller joined Centier in 1997 as a customer service representative.  She joined the Human Resources department in 1999 and has since been a part of a hiring team that has grown the Bank significantly over the past decade.  In 2010, Centier was named the “#1 Best Place to Work in Indiana” by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

Miller is a board member of the Northwest Indiana Society for Human Resources Management.  She received her master’s degree from Keller Graduate School and her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Purdue University.

Miller lives in Crown Point with her son and is engaged to be married.
