04.28.2011 - Centier Collects Over $4,500 for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Efforts

On April 19, 2011, Centier Bank presented the American Red Cross with a donation of $4,591.58 to help with Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Recovery efforts. Centier associates from Lake, Porter, La Porte, Marshall and Tippecanoe Counties exhibited overwhelming concern for victims of this natural tragedy and responded by hosting a dress casual for charity day for associates to benefit relief efforts. The collection fund was also populated with generous client donations.

Brandie Belstra, Portage Willowcreek Branch Manager, and Jill Bikoff, Human Resources Representative, presented Gordon Johnson, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of NWI, with a check.

The American Red Cross is so very grateful for these donations to assist with the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami,” said Johnson. “Centier Bank employees and customers always step up when there is a major national or international disaster and we thank you for your caring and compassionate concerns.
