Centier Named Among 2010 "Best Places to Work" in Indiana
Centier has been named one of 2010’s “Best Places to Work in Indiana” for the fourth consecutive year. Centier was the only Northern Indiana company, headquartered in Merrillville, to make the list of more than 70 Hoosier companies being honored for their strong workplace environment.
Centier Donation for Haitian Relief
Centier hosted a weeklong collection, January 18-23, 2010, to benefit the American Red Cross earthquake relief effort in Haiti. The bank wide collection was part of Centier’s “Dress Casual for Charity” fundraiser. Based on client interest and feedback, the fundraiser was extended to include donations from the public. The total amount collected was $9,328.79.
Gill Honored with 2009 Legacy of Service Award
Curt Gill, Centier Vice President of Business Banking, was recently honored with the 2009 Distinguished Community Leader Award by the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce.
Centier Honored as "Most Active Partner" for Small Business Lending
The Regional Development Company (RDC) recently hosted its annual meeting and awards program to recognize leading business lenders in the community. Centier was named “Most Active Partner” once again by the RDC. Centier has received this honor five out of the last nine years.

Kezy Named "Most Active Lender" for Small Businesses
The Regional Development Company (RDC) recently hosted its annual meeting and awards program to recognize leading business lenders in the community. Amy Kezy, vice president of business banking at Centier, was named 2009’s “Most Active Lender”.
Centier Bank and Gary Neighborhood Services (GNS) partnered through financial literacy, and offered a workshop on how to choose and keep a checking account on Wednesday, January 13th, in the GNS office at 300 West 21st Avenue in Gary. After the lecture, attendees were able to ask questions and then left with materials that covered everything they had learned, including practice checkbooks.

Centier Bank recently hosted “Budgeting and Bingo” at Gary Manor Senior Housing as part of its ongoing partnership to bring financial literacy lessons to residents of the Gary community. Centier Unveils New Corporate Headquarters
Michael E. Schrage, President and CEO of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the official grand opening of the new Centier Centre, corporate headquarters for Centier Bank. Centier Centre, the bank’s five-story, 72,000 sq. ft. corporate center and campus, is not a public banking center, rather it will serve as the main business hub of the company, featuring executive and business support offices such as Human Resources, Marketing, Wealth Management, and Lending. The Centier Centre is located at 600 E. 84th Avenue in Merrillville, and is visible from the US Hwy 30 and Interstate 65 interchange.
