Centier Unveils New Corporate Headquarters

Michael E. Schrage, President and CEO of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the official grand opening of the new Centier Centre, corporate headquarters for Centier Bank. Centier Centre, the bank’s five-story, 72,000 sq. ft. corporate center and campus, is not a public banking center, rather it will serve as the main business hub of the company, featuring executive and business support offices such as Human Resources, Marketing, Wealth Management, and Lending. The Centier Centre is located at 600 E. 84th Avenue in Merrillville, and is visible from the US Hwy 30 and Interstate 65 interchange.

Excavation and construction of the Centier Centre began in February 2007. The building’s façade is constructed of steel and glass panels, which reflect the blue skies and images of the surrounding landscape. The rounded curve of the building offers a unique modern look for Centier Bank. On the rooftop of the building, above the large Centier logo, sits a large circlet, a crowning architectural feature that will be illuminated as the sun sets each evening.

“The Centier Centre is the next phase of our corporate vision to build a campus large enough to sustain all of Centier’s headquarters and support offices in one concentrated area,” stated Schrage. “Centier has grown to include 44 banking locations and 12 Business Banking Centers across a seven county area. Having a central work base provides seamless operation and benefits the entire Centier organization, especially our clients. This corporate center definitely makes an impression on the landscape and our presence in Northern Indiana.”

Some of the business amenities inside of the Centier Centre include:

Conference/Meeting Rooms – Each department features meeting rooms to accommodate business gatherings, both large and small.
Centier Café/Private Dining – The Centier Café is an exclusive dining facility for Centier associates and their guests. Three private dining rooms are available for private business lunches.
Client Service Center – Centier’s call center is a multi-channel operation, managing an average of 27,000 calls per month.
