Centier Celebrates State Championship

When Centier Bank President and CEO Mike Schrage was a young man, he wanted nothing more than to be the head coach for a championship team. “When I first started my career, I wanted to become a professional athletic coach,” stated Schrage. “As a young boy, I dreamed about leading a winning team to victory.”

Centier Tops the List of "Best Places to Work in Indiana"

Centier Bank tops the list of 2010’s “Best Places to Work in Indiana” by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. This is the fourth year in a row that Centier has been listed among the top 10 employers in the state and the first time that it has topped the list.

Family Math Night

The Hammond Hispanic Community Committee (HHCC) and Centier Bank partnered with Irving Elementary School’s Family Involvement Facilitator and Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) to offer Family Math Night to the school’s students and their parents. The event also celebrated the American Bankers Associations’ Teach Children to Save efforts.

Free "Charge It Right" Presentation

The Lake County Public Library is offering a FREE financial literacy presentation, “Charge It Right – How to make a credit card work FOR you!” by Lisa Crabtree, Centier Bank, Merrillville Branch Supervisor. The presentation will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
