Prime Time Banker
This position is responsible for developing strong client relationships by exceeding client sales and service needs on the teller line, and while opening new accounts. The individual will consult and refer clients by defining their needs, explaining solutions, and recommending courses of action. Operational duties will also be shared with the branch team. The ideal candidate should posses a positive upbeat attitude, be detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills. The associate must be goal focused and work well in a team environment. This position requires the ability to work at multiple branches/departments.
Client Service Representative (Teller)
At least 75% of this position will be spent on the teller line. This position is responsible for developing strong client relationships by exceeding client sales and service needs. Customer Service Representatives consult and refer clients by defining their needs, explaining solutions, and recommending courses of action. Operational duties will also be shared with the branch team. The ideal candidate should posses a positive upbeat attitude, be detail oriented, and have excellent communication and sales skills. The associate must be goal focused and work well in a team environment. In-store positions also require in-aisle selling along with assisting with monthly promotional events used to enhance in-store banking.
Client Service Specialist
This position is responsible for developing strong client relationships by exceeding client sales and service needs. The individual will consult and refer clients by defining their needs, explaining solutions, and recommending courses of action. The individual will do this by making outbound sales calls, handling routine client inquiries, problem resolution, complaint management, product information, referrals, fund transfers, opening new accounts and taking loan applications. This position will assist internal and external clients with phone inquiries while relaying messages. Ninety-five percent of the position is telephone related. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and phone skills, and must be self-motivated. The ideal candidate must be positive, enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, and take personal responsibility for client satisfaction. This person must have Word and Excel experience and Internet experience is preferred.
Management Development Program
The Management Trainee position starts as an entry-level position where career development and promotional opportunities exist. It is intended to prepare candidates for a Branch Management position within the Bank. The program will consist of a 6-24 month fast track training program where the individual is exposed to all aspects of the banking field and eventually placed as an Assistant or Branch Manager. Trainees will be working at a variety of branches throughout our Lake or Porter County offices while in training and will utilize what they learned in all departments at the branches. Trainees will also spend time in our supermarket locations to be familiarized with this type of market. The program begins with training as a Customer Service Representative. Thus, the individual must be willing to begin in an entry-level capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in beginning a career in banking. Qualified candidates must be pursuing a business related degree, with one year or less until completion, or be a college graduate possessing a degree in a related field. Leadership in clubs, school, work etc. and past supervisory and banking experience is a plus.
Branch Manager
As part of the operations team, this position is responsible for managing, directing, and controlling the activities of the Branch. They will be responsible for servicing the product needs of existing and prospective clients and overseeing all other operational duties. The Branch Manager will ensure a high level of quality sales and service to clients through effective training and motivation of staff. The ideal candidate must have exemplary customer service, sales, interpersonal, and communication skills. The individual must be self-motivated and work well with limited supervision. Branch banking and lending experience is required with one to three years' supervisory experience preferred.
In-Store Supervisor
As part of the management team, under the direction of the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for assisting in managing, directing, and controlling the activities of the branch. They will be responsible for servicing the product needs of existing and prospective clients and assisting in other operational duties. They will ensure a high level of quality sales and service to clients through effective training and motivation of staff. In addition, this position requires in-aisle selling along with managing monthly promotional events used to enhance in-store banking. The ideal candidate must have exemplary customer service, sales, interpersonal, and communication skills. The individual must be self-motivated and work well with limited supervision. Branch banking experience is required with supervisory experience preferred. Lending knowledge and experience is helpful, but not required.
