The Centier Bank – Schrage Family Foundation Scholarship was established in 1995 in recognition of Centier Bank’s Centennial Anniversary and its founder, Henry Schrage. The program reaffirms Centier Bank’s commitment to the families and communities it serves.
The scholarship rewards academic achievement, as well as school and community leadership, and is a $2,000 award. Funds will be distributed in $500 payments per year each August for four consecutive years, providing that the student achieves a GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) each semester. If the student’s GPA falls below 3.0 at any time or if he/she fails to return to school, the scholarship will be terminated. Note: Special consideration may be made for students who take part in internship programs. Students will be required to submit their grades to Centier Bank at the end of each school year and communicate openly to Centier Bank regarding any changes in their scholastic involvement (i.e. switching schools, internship programs, etc.). Any failure to meet these conditions may result in termination of the scholarship.
