Centier Bank "Strikes Gold" with Friends of the Hammond Public Library
December 14, 2017
HAMMOND – Centier Bank has become a Business Gold partner with the Friends of the Hammond Public Library (Friends) for the 2018 year in support of the organization's educational efforts.
The Friends of the Hammond Public Library are goodwill ambassadors who provide volunteer help, raise funds for projects, and sponsor cultural and educational programs of interest. The goal of the organization is "to promote the continued existence of Hammond Public Library Services as a cultural and community asset through advocacy, volunteerism, and fundraising."
The partnership is one that Centier views as part of their vision of improving and supporting the communities in which they serve.
"The Friends provide funding for programs and services that the library is unable to provide," Sylvia Pratt, President of Friends, commented. "We are very appreciative of Centier’s contribution."
