Billinero Awards $1,000 to April's Monthly Winner

May 25, 2022

Billinero, an app-based savings account that awards cash prizes in monthly and quarterly drawings to select users, has named Susan Williams of North Judson, Ind., as the monthly winner.

Williams said she began using Billinero as a way to start saving small, in hopes she would be named winner of the prize drawing.

“The app got my attention because it was awarding money to winners just for building their savings accounts, so I thought, ‘why not’?” Williams said. “I’ve been able to build a nice little emergency fund with my Billinero account, and now I have an extra thousand dollars!”

Chris Campbell, Executive Vice President of Billinero, said hearing winners’ stories is a rewarding part of working for the prize-linked savings app.

“Billinero is a unique type of banking app, because it is designed to motivate people to want to save for that rainy day,” Campbell explained. “The percentage of people with no emergency savings has risen in the last two years, and it is our mission to get America saving. Little by little, it shows people that even setting aside a small amount each week can add up quickly.”

Billinero’s next $1,000 monthly drawing is taking place May 31. Users can download the app from the App and Google Play Stores to sign up and start earning chances to win.
