August 6, 2020
MERRILLVILLE, Ind. – Michael E. Schrage, CEO and Chairman of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Bryan Traylor to Board President of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association.
Traylor, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending at Centier, has been a board member of IMBA for four years. Traylor joined Centier Bank in 2013, serving as the Vice President, Mortgage Sales Manager, before his current role, which he has been in since 2016.
“I’m humbled and honored to serve as the Board President for the IMBA for the next 12 months, during this unusual business time,” Traylor said. “I am grateful to lead in an industry that has not only been able to survive a pandemic, but to help others as well. We have an opportunity as an industry to be a leader in pulling our economy, both local and national, out of this pandemic in the coming months and years.”
Traylor resides in Zionsville with his wife Lindsay, and their children. He has served as Vice President on the Zionsville Town Council, the Zionsville Safety Board, and the Zionsville Police Commission.
The association serves as a resource and advocate, representing real estate lending in Indiana. Its purpose is to serve the mutual interests of its members to preserve, enhance, and advance the mortgage banking and real estate finance business in the State of Indiana. Traylor said he looks forward to representing Centier Bank in his role at the IMBA.
“Bryan’s leadership in our mortgage division has truly been impactful and has led the team in a remarkable direction,” Schrage explained. “I am very proud of his accomplishments, and I am confident the IMBA will thrive with Bryan as President.”
