Centier Bank Associates “Dress Down” to Raise Funds for Mental Health America of Lake County

Centier Bank Associates Raise Funds for Mental Health America of Lake CountyMERRILLVILLE, IN – Thanks to a $600 donation by Centier Bank associates, more individuals and families in Northwest Indiana will have access to early childhood development and other mental health programs provided by Mental Health America of Lake County (MHALC).

The funds were raised through a recent “Dress Casual for Charity Day,” supporting Mental Health America of Lake County’s many programs based in prevention and empowerment of the individuals they serve. Centier Bank’s Vice President and Director of Marketing Andrea Sherwin serves on the nonprofit’s Board of Directors and values Centier’s dedication to supporting the organization. 

“Centier associates continue to show their caring spirit for so many organizations - I am especially proud of this donation, because it is a cause close to my heart,” explained Sherwin. “Mental Health America supports families throughout Lake County, Indiana, and as that number continues to grow, so does the need for program funding.  The organization’s results are phenomenal, and I’m so grateful to my fellow associate for their support of these much needed services.” 

Anthony Contrucci, Center Bank’s Vice President of Community Relations and Business Development, echoed Sherwin’s statements.

Renae Vania Tomczak, President and CEO of MHA of Lake County, was joined by Victor Garcia, Vice President of Operations at Centier Bank’s Corporate Center to accept the donation.
