Centier Bank Congratulates Board Member, Cristal Brisco, on Being Named St. Joseph Superior Court Judge

MERRILLVILLE, Ind.— Michael E. Schrage, Chairman and CEO of Centier Bank, is pleased to extend a warm congratulations to Board Member, Cristal Bisco, who recently took the bench as St. Joseph Superior Court Judge.

Brisco joined Centier Bank’s Board of Directors in 2019, when she was serving as Magistrate Judge for the St. Joseph Circuit Court. Previously, she has served as General Counsel for the Corporation of Saint Mary’s College - Notre Dame and Chief Legal Counsel for Mayor Pete Buttigieg through the City of South Bend’s Executive Branch. Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb appointed Brisco in June.

"It is an honor and privilege to join the Superior Court," Brisco said in a statement. "I am committed to upholding the highest standards of the profession and serving the community by providing equal justice under the law."

Brisco said she resonates with Centier’s commitment to building communities through banking, financial literacy, and volunteerism. Schrage said the Centier Bank Board of Directors and leadership team are in awe of Brisco’s recognition and achievement.

“Cristal has provided exemplary guidance and leadership to Centier Bank as our organization has grown,” Schrage explained. “We want to congratulate Cristal on this well-deserved appointment and know she will continue to work hard for St. Joseph County. We are proud to call her a friend and a member of our Board of Directors.”

Brisco also serves on the Indiana State Bar Association's board of governors and the Notre Dame Law Association board. A graduate of Valparaiso University and the University of Notre Dame Law School.
