Centier Bank Donates $2,500 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County in Support of Bids 4 Kids Dinner & Auction

January 23, 2018

Centier Bank Boys & Girls Club 2,500 DonationELKHART – Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County host their Bids 4 Kids Dinner & Auction, the largest, single fundraiser for the organization’s Goshen Club each year. To support this annual auction, which has attracted donors from across the United States and even China, Centier Bank presented the Clubs with a $2,500 donation.

Heading into its 18th year, the evening features several auctions, an elegant dinner catered by local restaurants, and allows the Boys & Girls Club members to share amazing stories of inspiration and empowerment. The goal of the event each year is to help meet operating expenses while informing on the life-changing work done at the Goshen Club.

“Our goal is to provide donors with an amazing, unforgettable experience,” explained Matt Fischer, Director of Development and Special Events with the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County. “The generosity of our community, our staff, and our board are all fully visible during this magical night, as all come together for one purpose: to help the Boys & Girls Club fulfill our mission of inspiring and empowering all young people.”

Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank, has been supporting the communities in which they serve since 1895. Since their expansion into the Michiana region in 2009, Centier has continued their commitment to serving organizations that reflect its own “Servant Heart Culture.”

“Centier Bank continues to support community initiatives throughout the Michiana region, and I am proud that we are able to support this program for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County,” said Sheila Sieradzki, Vice President of Community Relations at Centier Bank. “We are hoping others join us in support of the event so we can make 2018 a record-breaking fundraiser for the clubs. The event has grown each year and is the critical fundraiser for their annual funding needs.”

The 2018 Bids 4 Kids Dinner & Auction will take place on May 5, 2018, at the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, featuring a relaxed tailgating theme.
