Centier Bank Donates $5,000 to Wabash Center's Annual Fundraiser

Wabash Center DonationLAFAYETTE, Ind. – Centier Bank recently presented a $5,000 community donation to Wabash Center to sponsor its 17th annual Wines on the Wabash fundraising event.

Wabash Center is a Lafayette-based nonprofit that provides services and care for adults with special needs and disabilities with the goal of optimizing their qualities of life. The Wines on the Wabash event is the organization’s primary fundraiser, featuring beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction.

Centier Bank’s Lafayette Market President, Joseph Howarth, presented the check along with Centier Business Banking Officer, Kevin Broadstreet, at the Wabash Center’s January manager’s meeting.

“Wabash Center does a tremendous amount of good in our community, and Centier Bank is happy and proud to serve as a partner to the organization,” Howarth said. “We want to help Wabash Center not only put on a successful event, but to help raise awareness of all the wonderful services they provide.”

Jason McManus, President of Wabash Center, said the financial support from Centier Bank is instrumental in ensuring the event will be successful, fun, and impactful for the organization’s residents.

“Wabash Center is proud of our partnership with Centier Bank, because they understand our business needs and care about and support our mission—optimizing the quality of life for people with disabilities or special needs. ,” McManus explained. “The sponsorship allows us to provide a world-class wine tasting and social event and at the same time bring awareness to the community about the wonderful work Wabash Center is doing in support of those we serve. Centier is a true community bank.”
