Centier Bank Promotes Brian Ternet to Senior Lending Officer

August 18, 2021

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Michael E. Schrage, CEO and Chairman of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Brian Ternet to Senior Lending Officer.

Ternet began his journey with Centier in 2016 after 10 years of working in the banking industry. He is an alumnus of Indiana University Fort Wayne where he received his bachelor's degree in Business and his MBA. He has also graduated from the University of Wisconsin’s graduate school of banking.

Ternet said he enjoys working with his clients and creating personal relationships to help them flourish in their financial journeys.

“When speaking with a client, I try to create a financial balance for them,” Ternet said. “I want them to know that I am truly dedicated to their growth in the years ahead.”

Rob Slusser, Market President in Fort Wayne, said Ternet’s personal drive and pride for his community are seen every day at work, and that he could not be more deserving of this promotion.

“Brian is a large part of our Fort Wayne community,” stated Slusser. “When he works with clients, he ensures that he creates personal connections and puts the client’s needs at the center of his work. His efforts to give back to the community do not go unnoticed.”

Brian lives in Fort Wayne with his wife, Kimberly. He continues his work in the community by being an active member of Turnstone, Big Sisters and Big Brothers, and Brightpoint.
