INBiz is the state of Indiana’s one-stop resource for registering and managing your business, and ensuring existing businesses are compliant with state laws and regulations. It is a best-in-class portal that provides a streamlined and expedited process for your business needs. INBiz utilizes state-of-the-art security features so businesses can feel safe about inputting business information into the system. Additionally, services from the Department of Revenue and the Department of Workforce Development have been added. This means that businesses can handle many state and local reporting requirements with INBiz, such as employer reporting, wage reporting, unemployment claims and premiums, and tax registration. The INBiz call center is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST to answer questions. Their phone number is 317-234-9768. Registration is available on the www.inbiz.in.gov site.
INBiz’s ultimate objective is to be a single point of contact for businesses to meet their requirements with the state. The portal will continue to add functionality to make it easier to do business with the state of Indiana. “We are pleased to host Secretary of State Connie Lawson as she shares with local business leaders the State’s new INBiz technology. As a leading bank of choice for businesses throughout the State of Indiana, we have a vested interest in services that help our business partners grow,” said Mike Schrage, Chairman and CEO of Centier Bank. “With the ability to manage legal and regulatory processes in one easy place online, Indiana business owners will have more time to focus on the day-to-day operation and growth of their businesses – an outcome we are happy to support for our clients.”
Secretary Lawson remarked, “New businesses are one of the driving forces behind Indiana’s economy, and it is our mission to do everything we can to support them by making it easier to do business with the state, as well as for existing businesses by allowing them to use one username and password.”
