Centier Bank Appoints Teresa Quezada as Manager of Munster Branch

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. – Michael E. Schrage, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce Teresa Quezada has been named the manager of the bank’s Munster branch, located at 9716 White Oak Avenue. 

Quezada joined Centier in 2005 as Assistant Branch Manager at the East Chicago location. She was promoted to Bank Officer and Branch Manager of the Whiting Stracks location in 2006, and Branch Manager, AVP to Hammond Van Til in 2015. She has been in banking for over 20 years.

Quezada said her goal is to impact and develop her team by living out Centier’s Servant Heart Culture.

“As a Hispanic woman, I have had the opportunity to serve and develop teams in Hispanic communities,” she said. “I have been able to utilize my experience in the banking industry to bring awareness and financial literacy to our Latin communities. These outreach initiatives are what I find to be the most rewarding part of my job, and I feel lucky that Centier encourages giving back.”

She aims to inspire her associates so that they can work together to financially guide clients and enrich their lives.

Quezada serves as the bank’s Munster Community Coordinator for the last several years. She has also volunteered in the Munster, Hammond, East Chicago, Lowell, and Whiting communities, having contributed to Bank On Indiana effort, as well as participated in the Hammond Hispanic Community Latino Resource Fair. She resides in St. John with her family.
