Last Updated on Mar 11, 2024

CARMEL, IND. – Centier Bank recently made a $1,000 donation to Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation to support upcoming community events the organization is putting on to enrich lives in the community.

The donation will help fund two lunch and learn educational sessions focused on health and wellness, and a portion of the donation will also help fund the Adaptive 5k event in May, a sensory-friendly race experience. The mission of Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation is to strengthen the community and serve residents through high-quality, innovative parks and facilities for recreation. Kari Berger, Resource Development Coordinator for Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation said the community donation from Centier Bank allows the organization to provide high-quality programs to residents of Carmel and central Indiana.

“Centier Bank is a wonderful partner organization whose support enables us to focus on our core mission,” Berger explained. “Our Adaptive 5k was so popular last year, that we are opening the number of race registrations to 40; Centier Bank’s support allows us to have this many registrants while also keeping the experience sensory-friendly and welcoming.”

Linda Risch, Community Relations Officer at Centier Bank, was able to present the check to Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation.

“Centier’s foundation is built on service to others and service to the communities where we provide banking services,” Risch said. “Investing in our community organizations to provide enriching programs, services, and events aligns with our core belief in fostering a thriving community where everyone can enjoy a better quality of life.”
