Centier Bank Donates $1,000 to Unity Foundation to Support La Porte County

LA PORTE, Ind. — Centier Bank recently made a $1,000 donation to the Unity Foundation, the local community foundation for La Porte County. The donation will go toward the Power for Good Fund, which enables the organization to provide funding to qualified nonprofit organizations, governmental bodies, and teachers serving La Porte County.

Centier Bank’s $1,000 donation is tripled thanks to the Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow initiative, which has a $2 to $1 match.

“Centier Bank’s support allows us to continually address complex issues that impact quality of life in our communities here in La Porte County,” said Jamie Miller, Unity Foundation’s Development Officer. “To date, the community grant program has granted $2.4 Million to organizations throughout La Porte County.”

Pia Parrot, Centier Bank’s Michigan City Branch Manager, said she cherishes the relationship she has built with the Unity Foundation.
