INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Centier Bank associates recently gathered for a team volunteering event as well as a check presentation at FACE Low Cost Animal Clinic. FACE’s mission is to provide affordable spay/neuter, vaccination, and wellness services for the Indianapolis community to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats.

Associates from Centier Bank’s Indianapolis branches volunteered for a variety of tasks that help to keep the clinic running smoothly, such as preparing syringes, rabies tags, and putting together e-collars. The group also got a tour of the facility where over 80 spay-neuter appointments are conducted per day.

Alyssa Starr Newerth, Director of Community Impact at FACE Low Cost Animal Clinic said volunteer work is critical to the success of the high-volume, nonprofit clinic.

“FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic is so grateful for the corporate support of Centier Bank,” Newerth expressed. “This recent donation of $2,500 will help us meet our mission of reducing unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats in our community. Donations like this help us provide access to affordable veterinary care to the central Indiana community. We use donations to help keep pets with their families, where they belong, instead of ending up in overcrowded animal shelters.”

Linda Risch, Community Relations Officer at Centier Bank, said the group had a great time volunteering together and living Centier’s Servant Heart Culture.

“Centier Bank encourages all associates to volunteer and give back to our communities whenever possible, and we were thrilled to take the opportunity to give back to such a wonderful organization,” Risch said.

FACE is holding an upcoming fundraiser, the Mutt Cup, on April 25, 2024 at the Biltwell in Indianapolis For more information about FACE Low Cost Animal Clinic, go to faceanimalclinic.org/.
