CENTIER BANK PROMOTES BRIAN O’MEARA TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

MERRILLVILLE, IND. — Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned and operated bank, is pleased to name Brian O’Meara as its Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer. O’Meara is based out of Centier’s Merrillville Headquarters, overseeing Centier’s Marketing, Digital Sales, Customer Experience, Community Relations, Call Center, and Strategic Planning & Execution teams.

“I joined Centier two and a half years ago as the first Chief Marketing Officer in the bank’s 130-year history and have loved being able to work with and empower our talented associates,” said O’Meara. “I look forward to continuing to work across the organization to support the bank as we scale beyond $10 billion in assets and further distinguish Centier as the standout leader in customer satisfaction, trust, and authentic hospitality. 

O’Meara has more than 30 years of experience in banking and leadership at several financial institutions prior to joining Centier. In his new role, O’Meara will be responsible for leading Centier’s integrated strategy for growth, customer experience, and brand engagement.

O’Meara lives in Valparaiso, where he moved after joining Centier, and supports many charitable organizations throughout Northwest Indiana. He is looking forward to taking on more active leadership roles with community organizations as he settles into life in Indiana.
