Centier Bank Promotes Michel Alvarez to Bank Officer

GOSHEN, IND. – Michael E. Schrage, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Michel Alvarez to Bank Officer.

Alvarez currently serves as the branch manager of the bank’s Goshen Branch, located at 1716 Elkhart Rd. Previously, she served as the assistant branch manager since 2017. Alvarez has over 12 years in the banking industry, including serving several years in various roles such as bank teller, loan specialist, and call center representative.

“I aim to continue fostering genuine, caring relationships with Centier clients and the Goshen community,” Alvarez said. “One of my personal goals is to continue to build trust and be an advocate for our Hispanic community when it comes to their financial needs.”

Alvarez has been recognized in her community as well as by the bank for her dedicated Servant Leadership. She has served on several community boards including Women in Business with the Goshen Chamber of Commerce, Goshen’s Emerging Leaders, and Dress for Success. She was awarded the Ambassador Chair, and the Member Volunteer of the Year by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce in 2020. She also graduated from the Goshen Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program in 2022.
