Centier Bank Welcomes Emilie Hunt as Assistant Vice President, Trust Officer

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. – Michael E. Schrage, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centier Bank, is pleased to welcome Emilie Hunt as Assistant Vice President, Trust Officer to Centier Financial Partners, the bank’s Investments and Fiduciary Services Department.

Hunt joins Centier after serving as an attorney in a private practice for 15 years. She began her legal career in Chicago as a corporate attorney, specializing in regulatory compliance and representing high profile clients in the lending space. In 2019, she joined an Indiana law firm to focus her practice to elder law, specializing in estate planning and administration.

Hunt is looking forward to combining her legal expertise with her passion for community service and advocacy to provide world-class service to Centier clients.

“I’m very excited to embark on this new endeavor in my career, and I feel very at home at Centier who goes above and beyond to give exceptional care to their clients and associates,” Hunt expressed. “I have received so much support and encouragement in my first few weeks here, and it’s been truly remarkable.”

The University of Colorado and Western Michigan University alumna serves as the Chair of the Center Township Trustee’s Foundation Board and is a board member of the Boys and Girls Club PALS and was also recently elected to Valparaiso’s City Council.
