CENTIER BANK WELCOMES SEAN HIGHSMITH AS NEW WHITING BRANCH MANAGER

Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned and operated bank, is pleased to welcome Sean Highsmith as its new Branch Manager. In this role, Highsmith is responsible for overseeing Centier’s Whiting branch, located at 1500 119th Street, and fostering Centier’s relationship with the Whiting community.

“I really enjoy the family atmosphere here at Centier, and feeling like I truly matter,” said Highsmith. “It’s amazing to be a part of such a great company that values you and I’m excited to be a part of the Centier family and Whiting community for many years to come.”

Highsmith returns to Centier with more than 15 years of management experience, holding management positions at Heat Wagon Inc. and Walgreens. He was also a traveling Prime Time Banker at Centier while in college during the summers between 2004 and 2008.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sean back to Centier,” said Carla Houck, Vice President, Regional Sales Manager at Centier. “His management experience and enthusiasm will be an essential asset to Centier Bank.”

Highsmith holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Carthage College. He is married, has two boys and has an English bulldog. He is looking forward to connecting with the Whiting community and joining local organizations.

In addition to welcoming Highsmith, Centier Bank has much to celebrate this year, including commemorating 130 years in business as well as being named the Best Retail Bank for Customer Satisfaction in the North Central Region of the United States in the 2025 J.D. Power Retail Banking Satisfaction Study.
