This month marks the 17th annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month, as observed by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency. Cybersecurity Awareness Month is to spread the word on the importance of cybersecurity across the country, ensuring everyone has resources to stay safe and more secure online.
The CISA offers a number of online resources that are free and open to the public. Topics include telework safety for working remotely, cybersercurity best practices and assessments, and risk management—mitigating risk to essential infrastructure. Find tip sheets on a variety of topics, which also includes statistics/warning signs, information on how to stay protected, and other simple tips to ensure best practices.
