Centier Bank Donates $1,500 To Hannah's House Annual Gala
December 13, 2021
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Centier Bank recently presented a $1,500 community donation to Hannah’s House of Michiana, a nonprofit, faith-based agency offering stable housing, home life, support, and programming to disadvantaged pregnant women and their babies.
The donation was made to sponsor the organization’s Annual Holiday Happenings. The gala is held to fundraise for the organization and celebrate the community, as well as the mission of Hannah’s House. Dawn Kaser, Director of Development at Hannah’s House, said she is grateful for the support of Centier Bank.
“Such connections and supportive efforts allow our fundraising and volunteer efforts to grow and flourish, enriching our experience and resources as staff; and ultimately benefitting the women and children of Hannah’s House,” Kaser explained. “Centier Bank has been a generous and wonderful partner in our mission to empower disadvantaged pregnant women to begin a process of life transformation.”
Mishelle Graber, Assistant Branch Manager at Centier Bank, said she began volunteering at Hannah’s House last spring. Graber holds Centier To You Financial Education Courses for the mothers at Hannah’s House, even working one-on-one with them to answer questions and offer guidance.
"Through financial education outreach, I’ve been able to witness young overcome adversity and take control of their financial health,” Graber said. “Hannah’s House of Michiana offers expecting mothers a safe place with welcoming arms. It is so great to work for an organization that allows us to contribute our talents during the workday within our community."
