INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Michael E. Schrage, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of a new Indianapolis area branch, located at 62nd and Allisonville Rd. on March 4, 2024. Passersby can spot the bank’s signature “Big Blue Bow” symbolizing its grand opening and investment in the Indianapolis community.

Centier Bank entered the Greater Indianapolis Region in 2011 with a commercial loan production office in Carmel and subsequently established full-service banking centers in Carmel, Downtown Indianapolis, Westfield, Fishers, Whitestown, and Zionsville.

The new branch, located at 6210 Allisonville Rd., will feature two convenient drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM, a night deposit box, three teller stations and a self-service coin machine inside the lobby. Schrage emphasized that this new branch underscores Centier’s commitment to the Indianapolis community for years to come. Centier Bank is planning more Indianapolis-based branches, with at least two more opening in 2024.

“While so many banks are leaving, merging, or abandoning communities altogether, Centier Bank is investing in our clients and in the future of Indianapolis,” Schrage explained. “I take immense pride in our Indianapolis market leadership who champions the advantages of community banking in Central Indiana.”

Troy Kafka, Centier Bank’s Greater Indianapolis Market President, said the branch will be led by manager Ann Grace and a team of dedicated banking professionals who are excited to serve the residents of Indianapolis.

“We are eagerly anticipating the chance to forge caring relationships with our clients and offer remarkable banking experiences to our vibrant neighborhoods here in Indy,” Kafka said. “Our robust reputation that we've built in the Indianapolis market reflects our commitment to excellence.”

For the past six years, Forbes has ranked Centier on the Indiana Best-in-State Banks list, while The Indiana Chamber also recognized Centier Bank at its annual Best Places to Work Awards for the 17th consecutive year. In the summer, the Indianapolis Business Journal named Schrage as one of Indiana’s Most Influential Leaders, and the Indiana Bankers Association presented him with the Leaders in Banking Excellence Award, the organization’s highest distinguished honor.

“In a world where personal connections and community support are more valuable than ever, Centier Bank firmly believes that who you bank with matters,” Schrage explained. “Centier’s legacy of trust, reliability, and unwavering commitment to its clients and communities reinforces the importance of choosing a bank that truly understands and invests in a better tomorrow."
